Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Many of you know me as the chef and owner of Michael's Bistro. What you may not know is that I spent much of my childhood in care.

The support I received from my foster carers changed my life. They gave me stability, encouragement and a place where I could feel safe and belong. They helped shape the person I am today.

That's why I'm so proud to be a Patron of The Foster Care Charity.

The charity supports children and young people in care, as well as the incredible foster carers who help them grow in confidence, feel valued and achieve their full potential.

Cooking has always been a huge part of my life. My love of food began with my foster mum, who was a chef and inspired me to follow my dream. Today, I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every day, and I want to use that opportunity to give something back.
